The Paint Industry Association supports the companies in the field, to fulfil the special needs of their own customer companies. The common denominator is voluntary work in environmental, health and safety issues. The motivation comes from high-quality production and products. Shared industrial issues include communication, compilation of statistics and monitoring the developments in legislation.

The association is a member organisation of the Chemical Industry Federation of Finland and engages in close cooperation with the Confederation of Finnish Industries EK. Cepe, the European Council of the Paint, Printing Ink and Artists’ Colours Industry, is the European forum for cooperation. Globally the industry is organized under the umbrella organisation IPPIC, International Paint and Printing Ink Council. Cooperation on a Nordic level is regular, too. Other cooperation contacts form through the customer network.
