Finnish Bioindustries (FIB) represents the biotechnical industry in Finland. The association includes over 70 companies in the medication, diagnostics, biomaterials, foodstuffs and chemical industries as well as all of the trade organisations in the industry.

FIB promotes networking in the biotechnical industry on both the national and international levels. At the centre of its operations are questions related to research and technology, cooperation between investors and sponsors and support for start-up and growing companies. FIB participates in monitoring and preparation of legislation both in Finland and internationally.  

FIB is a member of EuropaBio, the European biotechnology advocacy organisation as well as the United States-based Biotechnology Industry Organization BIO.
