‘Chemistry today’ offers a teacher an opportunity to learn about the current questions in chemistry teaching. Also, the applications of chemistry and its future prospects are on the agenda. The project was launched in 1998 and receives support from the Chemical Industry Federation of Finland, the Finnish National Board of Education, Ministry of Education and MAOL, the pedagogical subject organisation of science and mathematics teachers. All in all the events have drawn over 1,000 participants.
