The Chemical Industry Federation of Finland organizes training for the
member companies’ management, HR management experts, specialists
responsible for terms of employment and compensation, as well as pay
roll administrators.
The chemical industry’s labour market
seminar addresses issues such as trends affecting the labour market,
current guidelines and changes in practices. Themed events regarding
labour legislation provide a compact take on changes in legislation. The
course on employment and terms of employment offers insights into the
regulations of labour legislation and provides advice on implementation
of said regulations. The pay roll administrator’s course offers
practical advice on handling of everyday tasks. Also, training tailored
for the company’s individual needs is possible.
The
chemical industry has produced guidebooks in cooperation with wage
earners’ organizations. The role of these publications is to support the
practical work in the area. Among the publications are for example
maintenance instructions for compensation systems and guidelines for
applying terms of employment to posted workers.
The know-how –
meaning advisory and other services - of the experts of the Chemical
Industry Federation of Finland is available for use by the member
companies. This way any structural changes that are ongoing in the
company, affecting terms of employment, become more manageable.
